This video highlights many aspects that academics are trying to address regarding a student's use of technology outside the classroom and linking these skills and knowledge with the classroom. As Teachers in the 21st Century, we are acknowledging the "importance of home, peer and community" use of technology - how can we link these skills that the students already have from these environments and use in our classroom settings?
